Just real strategies that work. Whether you’re dealing with collections, late payments, or a low score that just won’t budge. You’ll leave with the tools to take control and start seeing results. Before we continue, the rich not only make more money, but they also spend as little money as possible on those things they need but hate to pay for so they have more money for the things they enjoy. This is what is called as the “Money Saving secrets of the Ultra Rich”.  If that sounds interesting, check out the “ultrarich.alphalifestyleacademy.com” by clicking on the link below.

Follow these steps we are going to give you the steps to fix your credit.  However, we will also suggest a professional credit agency that will fix your credit in as little as 30 days.

Having a good credit score will save you as much as $500 per month on a $377,000 mortgage in a 30-year loan the average mortgage in May of 2025. Having a good credit score will do more than that. If you own your own company, having a good credit score will give you the business credibility you need to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding.

On the other hand, having a bad credit score can even stop you from getting a job. Andrea Rodriquez, a good friend of mine who has worked for small insurance agencies, was turned down for a job at Farmers Insurance job, not because she was a bad worker but rather because she had bad credit.

Companies today see you as a risk and feel if you can’t manage your own life, how can we trust you will manage our clients? We know at times the loss of a job or even health issues are factors that affect your credit. Today, you may also be paying for someone else’s mistakes because reports show that 79% or 1 out of 4 credit reports contain errors and information that is wrong.

Having good credit will not only save $500 per month on a $377,000 30-year mortgage it will save you on your car payments, credit card payments, furniture, and everything else you want and need. Having good credit can save you an average of $800 or more per month.

Step #3: Removing Items
If you have found discrepancies in your credit report, you are entitled by law to have these items removed. Even if the debt is valid, however, you need to have the debt removed because the information about your debt is incorrect (such as: Missing or incorrect last date of payment).

Step #4 Credit Report vs. Credit Score: A credit report is not the same thing as a Credit Score. You are entitled by law to receive a FREE credit report every year.

Credit Scores, on the other hand, you must pay for.

Why Cutting up Your Credit Cards Will Hurt Your Credit! Many experts suggest not to cut up your credit cards, as 15% of your Credit Score is made up of the history of your credit card usage.

The older the credit card, the better it is for you.

Many of you may have heard experts suggest that you cut up your credit cards; however, when your card expires, you still get a new card in the mail.  Cutting up your credit cards will not help you.  Canceling your credit card will also damage your credit score.

Thirty percent of your credit score is made up of the amount owed. Now, what happens is that credit card companies are cutting people’s credit overnight, and you don’t want to spend more than 33% of your credit limit.

If you have spent more, you will want to put as much as you can to pay down the balance so you keep the amount owed lower than 33% of the card limit. So be sure to check our article: “How to Get Out of Debt“.

Step #5: Pay your bill twice a month: Because of the way that credit reports are put together, it is helpful to pay your credit card bill twice a month.

You receive your bill, which has the balance due and the amount you have to pay on the due date. Take the amount owed and divide that by two, and pay half on the 15th of the month and another 50% on the 30th of the month for a total of the amount due, which equals 100%.  So if you owe $100 as the minimum you owe, pay $50 on the 15th and another $50 on the last day of the month. Because of how credit scores are calculated, this will improve your credit.

When shopping for lines of credit, do it quickly. You have two kinds of credit scores.

1) Soft Inquiry –This is when you check your credit, and this will not hurt your credit score.

2) Hard Inquiry – This will hurt your credit score.  This occurs when a bank or car dealership is looking at your credit score when you want a mortgage or a car loan.

When shopping for a loan, you will want to buy quickly so you do not hurt your score.  So choose the bank or car dealership you would be getting financed through, and don’t go from bank to bank or car dealership to car dealership, where you have multiple lenders looking at your credit score.

Step #6: Authorized User

If you are younger, your parents may have to be responsible for your loan.  While they have paid their credit card and bills on time, they have not yet built up credit.  If your parents become your “authorized user”, in other words, they are added to your account, which will boost your credit score, and you will benefit from their good credit history.  If you have a friend who trusts you, you may be able to benefit from their good credit history to boost your credit.  Both your parents and your friend are trusting you to make your payments on time so they don’t hurt their credit score.  You may be able to secure a stranger to do this for you for a fee.

We covered this in the article “How Rich People Manage Their Money.”

Once you download our workbook and action plans, we will give you access to a list of resources filled with credit users who can leverage their credibility to build your credit.  You can do this for a few hundred dollars.  It is best to look for a credit user who has a long history of good credit and a strong credit score.

Step #7: Alternative Credit Identity
If your credit is not strong or you need to financially protect yourself from the possibility of divorce, you may want to consider an “alternative identification number”.

Once a person becomes successful, they become a target, and so successful people need to protect their identity with a secondary identification number for security issues and to protect themselves against fraud; however, the poor and middle class can use this to get a fresh start.

An alternative identity does not relieve you of your responsibility to pay off any debts, as you are still responsible; however, an alternative credit identity is a quick way to reestablish your credit.

The Downside of Fixing Your Credit

Not Using a Professional: Credit repair may seem simple, but even making one simple mistake or letting something fall through the cracks can significantly hurt you.

Procrastination Will Hurt Your Credit Score: When repairing your credit score, there is the possibility that there could be several correspondences that need to take place between you and the credit agencies.  Staying on top of this is important.

You also must pay attention to the details. If you don’t feel you do this, then I would suggest letting a professional do the work for you.  We tend to let things fall to the side as we are busy with everyday distractions, even with the best intentions.  How many of us have started something that we didn’t finish?

Not Fixing Your Credit in the Proper Order: Things need to be done in a proper order.  If these agencies are not following state and federal laws, you will need to bring this to their attention. You will want to reach out to the credit agency that reported your delinquency first, so they can fix things on their end before you address how it is reflected on your credit report.

Document Everything: Once again, it’s not what you say but what you can prove, so you want to document everything.  Being organized is very important.

Failing to Validate Before Payments: Do not make one payment to any collection agency until you are positive it’s your debt.

Re-Set Payments: Debt is a legal issue, and if the debt has gone without payment long enough, you are then no longer required by law to pay the bill.

In many cases, it is seven years, but this law will vary from state to state.

If you pay the debt, this will reset the debt, and by law, you will then have to repay this debt.  So make sure you get everything in writing or emailed to you.  This is important, especially if you are trying to fix your credit on your own.

One trick many debt collection agencies use is to get people to only pay $1 dollar which resets the debt.

There are legal loopholes that may FREE you from any obligation to make further payments on your debt. The first thing you should do is to see if you are one of them by working with a professional.
